Nosferatu & The Minni- Thins

Nosferatu was a German film by FW Murnau released in 1922. It was an adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula novel with all of the names changed because Stoker's widow denied the rights for the adaptation. When she took the filmmakers to court, she won. All prints were supposed to have been destroyed, but it was too late. The film was out, and it was a masterpiece. Unlike Count Orlock, the film's Dracula stand-in, the film itself wouldn't be destroyed.

With Robert Eggers' excellent adaptation (of both Nosferatu & the novel Dracula) now in theaters, it's a great time to revisit or see the orginal Nosferatu film, so here it is with a modern indie-rock soundtrack by Cincinnati's The Mini-Thins.

Enjoy!
